I found Dr. Guthrie to be very informative and articulate about his views on the importance of motivating children to read.

I am interested to hear the rest of the five things teachers can do to motivate their students each day. Dr. Guthrie only had a chance to mention three or four. I hope to look at the article, but it's not free. I do appreciate this podcast, although sometimes they could be a little longer and the authors could have a bit more time to explain their research. The podcasts are a great way to learn more during a busy day.

I appreciate these podcasts as a way to stay informed during a busy day. One improvement, however, might be to let the authors spend a little more time explaining their research.
